Consumers in shopping malls are there for a specific reason: to buy a product or several products.
Since they are already in purchase mode, these consumers are acutely sensitive to product advertisements. If an advertisement appeals to them, they will make a spontaneous purchase, even if they had no intention of buying that product before they entered the store.
